Snug Ride Car seats feature EPS or energy absorbing foam, which is effective in absorbing impact energy. It also features a five – point harness that is front adjustable. There is also a removable infant head cushion support as well as an integrated belt – lock off. SnugRide car seats can be taken in and out of the car, and are compatible with most Graco strollers, letting parents create their own travel systems with plenty of ease. Most infants fit into the Graco SnugRide 32 or 35 until they reach about a year old.
Graco also offers car seats in larger models for bigger babies and toddlers. The Graco MyRide car seat is useful for a longer time since it can be used for babies up to 65 lbs. The Graco MyRide is a convertible car seat that can be used in rear facing position up until the baby weighs 40 lbs. Plenty of people prefer to keep their babies seated in rear facing position for a longer time since it is safer. The car seat can then be rotated to front facing position when baby is over 40 lbs. This Graco car seat is popular and very sturdy, but unlike the infant car seats such as the Graco SnugRide line, car seats cannot be taken out of the car and snapped onto strollers.
