What parents are raving about when it comes to the Graco Comfort Sport Convertible car seat is the plush Gracopedic foam. Some people compare it to memory foam, and almost all users feel that their babies are incredibly comfortable in this seat, even for long periods of time. Most people do not expect to get such a luxurious padded seat at the price point of the Graco Comfort Sport Convertible, so there are many happy owners.
The biggest complaints with this seat have to do with the straps. The first is that when the seat is rear-facing the strap release can be difficult to get to: there is a plastic tab on the front of the car seat that you need to pull, but it is pushed against the back seat – this makes loosening and adjusting the harness straps difficult. The second is that some users experience problems with the straps being uneven: you need to be very careful to loosen them evenly when taking the baby out, so that when you put baby back in they will tighten back up evenly. In addition, although it is a Graco and typically Graco car seats are quite easy to install, there have been some reports that the Comfort Sport is a little bit difficult to install in the rear-facing position. If you are short on patience, or normally have problems with quasi-technical matters such as strap adjustment and installation, you may want to select a different model for rear-facing use.
The style factor on the Comfort Sport is a big selling point for many, as Graco has really come out with some fabulous designs and color schemes for this car seat. This is made all the more attractive by the fact that the covers are machine washable and most users report it is very easy to take the cover off and put it back on – so your stylish seat can stay stylish, even with a messy baby!
At such a low price (from $79.99), if you have a budget and value for money is your prerogative, the Graco Comfort Sport Convertible is hard to beat.
